ABOUT PIPES AND FITTINGS.

Pipes and pipe fittings are used in both industrial and household applications as they play an integral role in not only transporting liquid and gas but also regulate them. Some commonly used pipes and pipe fittings include stainless steel pipes, PVC pipes, cast iron pipes, copper pipes, PB pipes, HDPE pipes, black iron pipes, elbows, drain waste vent fittings, hydraulic fittings, PVC fittings and flare fittings. Pipe fittings need to be installed in a proper manner as an improperly fitted pipe can result in leakage. Therefore plumbers deal with fitting pipes and other plumbing accessories in a professional manner. They install different pipe fittings such as copper solders, iron and brass threaded fittings, brass compression fittings, brass adapters and much more. The most commonly used pipe fitting is the valve as it controls the flow of water through the pipe.

Stainless steel pipes are strong, robust and resistant to corrosion. They are similar to copper pipes but are relatively expensive. Cast iron pipes are constructed using reinforced steel for better strength. If a portion of the pipe breaks it can be easily replaced using PVC joints. Black iron piping is usually not used in plumbing as it is a different metal which is best suited for carrying high-pressure gas. PB pipes are made up of grey polybutene material which is an inexpensive replacement for copper. It is a lightweight material which is easy to install and transport. However, these pipes are not leak proof due to their structural design. HDPE pipes are high-density polybutene pipes which are very flexible in nature. It is resistant to corrosion, leak proof and has a long lifespan. It is used for different plumbing applications.

Pipes and pipe fittings are an essential component of plumbing as they are used for commercial, household and industrial applications. If you are looking forward to installing a reliable and durable pipe, copper pipe is the best option. As they do not pollute drinking water and are heat tolerant. Copper pipes come in three different thickness such as M thickness, L thickness and K thickness. The M and L pipes are relatively thin and are suited to handle hot and cold liquids. The K size copper pipe has thick walls and is best suited for underground service lines. Pipes and pipe fitting manufacturers design galvanized steel pipes or metal pipes using reinforced steel which is highly durable. They are designed for industrial use and high-intensity applications. They are very robust in design and can carry high-pressure fluids and corrosive substances. However, these pipes need to be reinforced periodically to ensure that they work under optimal conditions.

Pipes and pipe fittings are made up of carbon, stainless steel, nickel, non-metallic material and chrome molybdenum. Some popular pipe fittings include gaskets, genders such as connectors and fasteners, slip joint fitting, sweep elbow, closet flange, clean-out, trap primer, combo tee, sanitary tee, baffle tee, double sanitary tee and Wye fitting. Some popular locations to find pipes and pipe fittings in the UAE are Dubai Investments, Al Rigga, Deira, SAIF zone, Al Khan, Jebel Ali Free zone, Nad Al Hamar road, Al Aweer, Al Nakheel area, Umm Ramool and Rashidiya.
